Juan Arizaga (San Sebastián, 1980). PhD Biology. Head of the Aranzadi Ringing Scheme (www.ring.eus) since 2007. Part-time dedicated to the management of the Ringing Scheme, which includes the promotion and coordination of ringing projects, improvement of data collection quality, networking with other entities, development of more and new training iniciatives for ringers, and add value to ringing data by promoting analyses and publications. As a researcher, development of projects on stopover ecology, migration and conservation of the birds of the Basque Country, Spain.
